The car fielded in 2018 uses the R.S. 18 chassis developed and produced at the former Renault F1 Team base in Enstone.

Nico Hülkenberg

Nico Hülkenberg joins Renault Sport Formula One™ Team with an impressive racing career ahead of his eye-opening Formula 1 debut in 2010, with championship titles secured in Formula BMW, A1GP and the GP2 Series. Nico also achieved a pole position in his rookie F1 season and won at Le Mans on his debut, with Porsche in 2015.

Daniel Ricciardo

Daniel Ricciardo joins Renault F1 Team with a successful Formula 1 career to date, which includes no less than seven wins, 29 podiums and three pole positions. His journey to Formula 1 included four years of racing under Renault power across the junior categories in the Formula Renault 2.0 Championship, World Series by Renault and Formula Renault 3.5, before making the step up to Formula 1 midway through the 2011 championship.

Guanyu Zhou

Guanyu Zhou joins Renault F1 Team as the team’s Development Driver. Guanyu also becomes a member of the Renault Sport Academy for 2019. Born in Shanghai, Guanyu is one of the most talented racing prospects in his native China and will compete in the primary Formula 1 support series – Formula 2 – in 2019 with UNI-Virtuosi Racing. The 19-year-old will race at twelve events on the Grand Prix support bill and is planned to assist the team in its driver simulator in Enstone.
